The office has been chattin about HBO's How To Make It In America and we were pretty psyched when we saw this too:
HBO continues to hit the streets of New York documenting the lives of pro skateboarders in order to help promote their new series "How to Make It in America." A few weeks back they released the "Legend of Wilfredo Gomez" video, which featured a who's who of the most talented skaters around. This week marks the release of "The Get By: Making it on the Streets of NYC." The new documentary that chronicles the lives of New York City skaters, and their struggle to hustle their way through the Big Apple and make it to the top of the skateboarding world. The highlights feature Jake Johnson, Gino Iannucci, Black Rob, Anthony Pappalardo, and Jahmal Williams. All these skaters are considered the best of the best and are in high demand and rarely seen on film. HBO has delivered another gem with this group of underground heavyweights. Casio Japan has just announced the full G-Lide lineup for the Summer of 2010. There are six new G-Shocks and one new Baby-G. The first ones will be released on April 30th, and the rest will be out in the following months. So you have plenty of time to save up for them all.

A really dope collaboration between Danger Mouse and James Mercer of The Shins, Broken Bells sounds more-or-less exactly how you'd expect. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Filled with light, floaty melodies that belie the eponymous album's gloomy lyrics, Bells mixes Mercer's distinctive voice and subtle guitar strumming with the alien sounds and funky beats DM is known for, creating a new, yet familiar sound that's satisfying, but nothing revolutionary.
